FOQUE is Luís Leitão’s project. Singer, composer, producer and sound designer. Everything we live, everything we breathe, everything we can only process in dreams, all this is FOQUE.
He already has two EP’s and presences in Bons Sons Festival, Indie Music Fest, Ginga Beat (Vodafone FM), FECIBogotá – Bogotá International Independent Film Festival, as musician/sound designer, and Setúbal International Theatre Festival.
In 2017, he created the FOQUE project and released his first
EP. He was present at Caldas Late Night, Indie Music Fest and Ginga Beat (Vodafone FM). Was part of the short film “Phenomenology of the Soul” exhibited in the FECIBogotá – Bogotá International Independent Film Festival, as a musician/soundtracker. He was also the scene musician/creator of the street theater spectacle Samsara in collaboration with Rui Paixão, with which he was present in 2017 at Fresh Street
(St.Maria da Feira), Ovar em Festa, Festiteatro (Esposende). He created and performed live music live for the vertical dance performance “Imortella” by Paulina Almeida (S.João da Madeira).
In 2018 he was co-creator of the Closing Party of the Bons Sons Festival (Cem Soldos).
In 2019 he created and set to music the show “ODE” counting with presentations at the Setúbal International Festival, at Capivara Azul (Guimarães) and at RA100 (Lisbon).
In 2020 he was in residence for the creation of the show “Manifesto of The New Clubbing” in Torres Vedras and presented it at Teatro da Garagem, Lisbon. He also did the musical creation and live interpretation for the show “Uma Singela Floresta de Pessoas” of the company NAPALM presented at Armazém 22, Porto. He has also performed concerts in Stockholm, Berlin and Barcelona.
He started 2021 with the release of his debut album “Ato Isolado” and also began the creation of a new show, “Ato Isolado”.
Supported by GDA, “Anne Solo” with Sofia Santos Silva he played the role of musical creator and interpreter.
In June he did a residency at the Paulo Ribeiro Company and produced music for the for the show “Saudade” in Gouveia and for the multidisciplinary show “Saudade” included in the Festival dos Canais in Aveiro.
